The URL http://www.tateturnercollection.com/dhblog/index.html didn’t work and instead my website is on www.tateturnercollection.com. Not really sure why that happened. I also included the original image file in my zip, but it didn’t show up in the public site version.

After hours of trying to create and save a .css file with TextEdit  – it finally worked! 🙂

This has been my very first time coding, and despite some technical setbacks, this assignment helped me develop basic intuition to HTML and CSS. I am definitely excited to learn more complex features!

I created a simple website featuring a recipe for earl gray tea cake. I added images of the cake, included a link to the recipe site and for CSS, altered the font, background color and text alignment. What I don’t understand though is why the images aren’t showing on the website. I tried adding /heejae/ – the name of the file the images are stored under – in front of cake.jpg (for instance) in the image src but that doesn’t seem to work.

I tried to create a scrolling slideshow banner, and it semi-worked when I was working on from my computer files.  (the pictures automatically scrolled but the images weren’t linear)

But when I uploaded it, the animations stopped. Why?

The other thing is I tried to do the unordered list, but it won’t show up.
