As I’ve said, this class is open to everyone, regardless of technical skill. There’s usually a range of starting points when students enter the class. So rather than grade everyone on the same set of technical skills, I’ll be looking to see that you’ve challenged yourself to grow beyond the place you’ve started.
You can do this by experimenting with tools and technologies, discovering new methods, asking lots of questions, and especially by diving into a new technology, even if you’re nervous about it. If you enter the class at a relatively high level of technical skills, we can talk about ways you can challenge yourself to go beyond the tools we discuss in class.
