For some reason, I followed all the instructions but am unable to upload my actual relationships chart. Because of this issue, I inserted a screenshot below.
With this chart, we’re able to see the direct relationships Aarti had with others. We are able to see who Aarti met through her friends along with their relationships. It gives us a better understanding of how she connects with others and who she connects with.
I mention this is my own post as well, but I noticed how easy it is to identify a limitation with this form of collecting data from a story. It probably didn’t directly mention in the story, or perhaps it was overlooked, but does Aarti know Brother? And what are the relationships that all of Aarti’s friends have with each other? What are the strengths of those relationships? There are a lot of questions that network graphs leave unanswered.
