Blog Post: Google Fusion

The short story that I have selected to read about was the Headless woman by Goncalo M. Tavares. Using Google Fusion was definitely interesting, however I’m not exactly sure how I personally feel about it. I don’t believe I was able to illuminate that much information from the use of Fusion. Maybe it works better, or I’d more fittingly say is more applicable to datasets of higher complexity, however simpler datasets such as mine for this short story don’t need much translation in order to interpret the data. Although I do believe data interpretation and visualization are extremely necessary and vital tools to use in any and all fields, I think in simpler situations it is not as necessary to visualize data or use Fusion because it does not offer much added contributory value to the data presented.

  1. Hi! This blog post seemed a little short and it would probably make it a little easier if you took a screenshot of the graph and put it into the post. Except for that it was good! 🙂
