My groups own dataset seems to be way more cluttered than how the guide looks so it was quite difficult to try and organize any of the data. To better visualize, I would have to make sure all the data is separate so that open refine can better work. As of now, all info was grouped into one section and not separated by title, maker, creation date, etc. That was all stuck together thus creating a confusing end product when using facet.
I hope to be able to separate the data by year or even style. That way I can visualize what pieces looked like during a certain time period. That way it would be a lot easier to understand the data and not feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount.
I agree that having scattered data can be a huge problem and glad that you are able to find a work around with openRefine. I would also suggest rather than uploading separately after separating the data, to upload all the data as a single file into OpenRefine. Best of luck!
