After looking at this data, there are different ways that my group can manipulate this data to help make it very clear and precise. This will be helpful in answering our research questions because the more precise data we can gather on our topic the easier it will be for us to make a strong analysis of our topic. OpenRefine gives us a lot of different possibilities when it comes to cleaning up data and making sure it is accurate in what we are looking for. Some OpenRefine operations that my group can use will be the editing of the names to lowercase and uppercase or if we need to combine some of the data and cells to clean up the data. This will enhance our ability to get an accurate count of our information. I think I would like to be able to group our data into bigger group because for our project we are doing the prisoners and there is about 270 inmates and their information. This is a lot of data that will take a lot of time to go over, and larger groupings can make this easier.
