I do believe that the emotions can be affected in someways by the internet, it is the medium in which we communicate, shop, view, dicsover, explore, educate, and so much more. This agent carries so much heart, and it is left open for anyone to access (for the most part). There are going to be emotinal ties mixed in, it is just the nature of emotions. Communicating through this medium is different, but I wouldnt say it is a bad thing, you are right people can be more honest, intimation is lost because of the diconnect, but that as well could have its consiquences.
