“John Asbery’s Nest<\/a>” provides viewers with a tour of American poet John Asbery’s home. One unique part of this website is that viewers are able to click through and virtually see and read about the different decorations within Asbery’s home. Almost every furniture and artwork within the home has a special and meaningful history to it. This website allows one to connect with Asbery in a deeper and more intimate way.<\/p>\n

The source of this website are the furniture and the different content that is found within Asbery’s home. John Asbery and David Kermani provided the content from the website while The Poetry Foundation contributed with photographs of the Hudson House. In addition, Yale Media and Broadcasting Center provided video and audio support for the site.<\/p>\n

One way that the website was processed was through a 360 degree virtual tour. Viewers are able to explore the website by going through different rooms and clicking through different descriptions. In addition, as viewers explore the descriptions of different furniture and objects, audio recordings and texts are provided to help describe and add meaningful information to the objects.<\/p>\n

Overall, I feel that the website was presented in a organized and creative manner. I feel that the interactive portion of the site made the whole experience fun and engaging. From all the websites I have seen, I feel that this one stands out to me the most.
