Briefly put, this story is about a man who finds himself as a accessory assistant at a funeral home known as Holroyd&#8217;s Funeral Directors. He works alongside Mr. and Mrs. Holyrod, co-owners of the funeral home,\u00a0 and Jonty, the resident embalmer. Simon, is the son of\u00a0Mr. and Mrs. Holyrod, and is briefly mentioned in the short story because his picture is placed in jack&#8217;s office. The map (below) does a great job in detailing this simple network.
