For this week&#8217;s assignment I decided to read and analyze the short story, &#8220;Discipline&#8221;, by Geeta Tewari. After opening and closing many stories, I finally settled on this one because I found it pretty interesting how the Hindu culture was incorporated into it.<\/p>\n<p>I had a few different choices when building my Network Graph, but decided to organize it by the characters and their relation to the main character, Aatari, and their status of virginity. As you can see in my attached photo, there are three categories; &#8220;Yes&#8221; they are a virgin, &#8220;No&#8221; they are not a virgin, and &#8220;Unsure&#8221;, as it was not made clear in the story. The organization of the graph conveys an interesting theme amongst some of the characters, her three childhood friends are all Virgins.
