More specifically, concrete data on how their medical research have contributed to ameliorating the AIDS pandemic. Additionally, important health-related information and statistics such as patient profiles, existing public health policies and mortality rates seem to be absent from the records. These are crucial to understanding the public health conditions and policies in place during that period of time, which can consequently help us understand the effectiveness of ACT UP/ Los Angeles in achieving their goal of funding medical research, influencing public policy, and changing public perception of AIDS.

Additionally, the accuracy of the archive could benefit from media clips and voice recordings of any protests, conferences, and interviews conducted over 1987 to 1997 regarding the AIDS pandemic. While the minutes, media archives and statements provide the necessary content, audio recordings are key in understanding the sentiments (and its intensity) of those supporting or opposing the movement, as it accurately captures the tone and intensity of speech.

Ultimately, the ACT UP/ Los Angeles records paint a very vivid picture of the conditions and stigma surrounding AIDS in the late 80s to 90s. While the information could be enhanced with more health-related data and audio recordings, the archives itself is sufficient to build a narrative general dissent towards the cause, and how that slowly transitioned towards acceptance as America approached the new millennium.

The AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power/ Los Angeles (ACT UP/ Los Angeles) is a coalition dedicated its work to creating

[1

post-1186","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
