The collection encompasses everything from books to memorabilia. There is an abundance of choices to choose from to create a historical narrative. We can connect different metal narratives through the years and location.

For instance, the metal music scene in Los Angeles in the 1980s. We can even pinpoint what sunset blvd in particular was like. There is also the inclusion of band t-shirts, so we would be able to know what the style and design of shirts were from that era. However, to get a clearer understanding of a narrative, we would also perhaps want information from people who were a part of that scene and do not have a book out detailing their experience. There are plenty of narratives missing from people who experienced the metal scene in Los Angeles in the 1980s. People’s stories are sources as well and create a more detailed image of what something once was. Most of the collection is from Los Angeles, so if we wanted to know more about what the metal scene was like in, for instance, Idaho, we would need additional sources and archives.

We can find out a lot about metal from these archives, but even so there is more we could still potentially learn.

I chose to read about the Heavy Metal collection because it seemed like it would be a fun and interesting

[1

post-1040","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
